Learn how the Soaker Hose can make your life easier
An alternative sprinkler
A soaker hose provides a great alternative to a traditional sprinkler when watering foliage, grass, nature strips and odd-shaped gardens. The long hose allows you to place the hose more efficiently for targeted watering in areas up to 4m wide (2m either side).
Two-in-one watering
The Hoselink Soaker Hose features tiny holes along its length allowing a fine spray of water to deliver an even coverage. The hose can be used as a sprinkler by placing the jets facing up or turn over for deep watering directly into the soil, reaching the plants' roots.
Innovative design
Available in two lengths - 7.5m or 15m, the Soaker Hose comes with an Accessory Connector allowing you to connect to your Hoselink-fitted hose with ease. Plus, for a longer length, two hoses can be connected together. The hose has been cleverly designed with an internal thread at one end and an external thread on the other. By removing the stop cap, the two lengths can be easily connected.
Q. What's the difference between a Soaker Hose and a Weeper Hose? A. A Soaker Hose is a plastic hose with holes throughout its length and emits a spray outwards, similar to a sprinkler. A Weeper Hose slowly "weeps" water and looks like it is dripping. Because Weeper Hoses drip directly into the ground underneath them, they are suitable for watering garden beds, can be buried under mulch and are useful for conserving water. Soaker Hoses, on the other hand, act more like a sprinkler. Many people like to use them on nature strips or other long sections of garden.
Q. Can you join more then one Weeper/Soaker Hose Together? Yes. The Weeper and Soaker Hoses have different threads at each end of the hose, allowing you to join more than one length together. The maximum length we recommend for effective watering is 30m.
