Cultivating a better world

With every product we manufacture and ship, sustainability is our top priority

Sustainability is an ongoing journey for our team. We’re always pushing to do better for the planet and reduce our environmental footprint. Over the years, we have been making significant strides to improve our sustainability efforts, and we are constantly reviewing the lifecycle of our products and packaging to see how we can improve.

Our Progress

We have always created our products with the environment in mind – the very foundations of Hoselink were built on durable hose connectors designed to save water. 

Over the past few years we have really stepped up our sustainability efforts, and since 2019, we have:  

  • Removed over 175,000 polybags from our product packaging

  • Removed 1,500m of bubble wrap from packaging

  • Reduced the size of our Hose Reel boxes

  • Replaced mailing satchels with biodegradable alternatives

  • Formed a Sustainability Committee to continuously review our efforts for the planet

  • Introduced an eco-friendly Solar Light range

Our Commitment to Change

We are determined to create a better planet for the future and have set out the following environmental goals to achieve by 2025:

  • Reduce company waste sent to landfill by 50% 

  • Reduce on-site paper printing by 75%

  • Reduce freight by minimising packaging

  • Reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 50%

  • Replace all single-use plastic packaging with reusable or biodegradable alternatives

  • Build partnerships to advance our conservation efforts in protecting Australian flora & fauna
