We’ve all been there, including Hoselink founder Tim Kierath who, fed up with stubborn kinks and fittings bursting off his hose, developed a range of products that would solve his watering woes once and for all.
All of our Retractable Hose Reels feature a self-layering rewind system that retracts and coils your hose neatly back inside the casing on command. A wall-mounted bracket allows the reel to pivot 180°, following your direction as you water. The result? Fewer kinks and tangles, and a smoother, more efficient watering experience.
Speaking of efficiency – water is a precious resource, so all of our Retractable Hose Reels come pre-fitted with a full set of Hoselink Connectors, a unique patented design unlike anything else on the market. The bayonet-style fittings buck the “click-on trend” with a barb and split ring system, while a simple “point and twist” action creates a secure, watertight seal – ensuring you’ll never waste a drop.
What Retractable Hose Reels do you sell?
Hoselink offers two great Retractable Reel types – our ever-reliable Classic Reel and our recently launched Evolve™ Reel. Although they share some of the same features, the Evolve™ Reel has a few innovative additions to provide you with a next-level experience.
The Classic Reel
For reliability, consistency, and a seamless watering experience, the Classic Reel is the ideal option for you.
It comes with a full set of our patented hose fittings, a Comfort 8-Pattern Flow Control Sprayer to switch between spray settings with control, and a ‘stop-anywhere’ locking mechanism for watering at any length.
Integrated carry handles make it easy to move around, and you can buy additional brackets to attach to a wall or post elsewhere in your garden.
We offer two versions of the Classic Reel: the Standard (available in 20m and 30m hose lengths) and the Hi-Flow (25m only). The Hi-Flow Reel is perfect for properties with low water pressure, thanks to a larger 14mm hose diameter.
The Evolve™ Reel
The biggest advancement in our Evolve™ Reel is the auto rewind Precision Layering System. An industry-first, it uses 6 guidance rollers instead of the usual 2 to relayer your hose without overlaps, completely eliminating the risk of kinks or tangles.
Another major enhancement is the outer casing, which has been significantly reinforced to withstand strong sunshine over extended periods of time. There’s a 22% stronger water flow (based on your current flow rate) compared to our Classic Reel, and the internal braking system has been upgraded for smooth, controlled retraction.
Both the Classic and Evolve™ Reel are available in two attractive colours: charcoal and beige.

What’s the difference between standard and Hi-Flow reels?
The Hi-Flow Classic Reel offers an alternative option for those with low water pressure at their property. The larger 14mm internal diameter of the hose allows a higher flow of water to pass through for better pressure, perfect for cleaning the car as well as watering plants. Though fitted with specially adapted 14mm hose connectors, the fittings are compatible with all our standard 12mm fittings and watering accessories. The Hi-Flow Reel is only available with a 25m length hose inside. How do I install my new Hose Reel?
Installation couldn’t be easier with our simple wall-mounted bracket design. It includes just four screw holes, and we’ve even included the screws, plugs and washers you’ll need to get the job done.
We recommend mounting your reel to a flat brick or timber surface, using an electric drill with a 12mm masonry bit for brick and a 5mm drill bit for timber. Full instructions are included with your Retractable Hose Reel. Once you’ve mounted the wall bracket, simply slot in your Reel and connect to the tap. It’s that easy! What else do I need?
Our Retractable Hose Reels come with everything you need to get started, but there are a few handy accessories that will make watering even easier:
• If you have existing accessories with click-on fittings, you can still use them with Hoselink Connectors. Most click-on pieces will unscrew from nozzles and sprayers, and our Accessory Connector will screw right in. If the click-on fitting is moulded, you can purchase a Hoselink Click-on Adapter, which screws on to the Hoselink Accessory Connector at one end and features a female click-on component at the other. • If your Hose Reel will be in full sunlight all day, it’s a good idea to purchase a Hose Reel Cover for added protection. Choose from three attractive designs to make your reel stand out.
• Every Reel comes with our bestselling Comfort 8-Pattern Flow Control Sprayer, with a range of spray functions: shower, mist, full, cone, centre, flat and jet. And we have plenty of other watering accessories too: our Extendable Cleaning Brush ideal is for washing windows and cleaning cars; the Super Jet Washer is perfect for cleaning pavers and car wheels; our Long-reach Shower Spray Wand offers extra length for hanging baskets and beds; and the Root Waterer & Soil Breaker is great for watering the deep roots of trees and large shrubs.
