Q. How long until I receive my
order?
Q. How long until I receive my order?
A. Your order is dispatched from our warehouse the day after we receive your payment. It is
difficult to give an exact time frame of how long it will take to get to you, because it can vary depending on
where you live. However, generally speaking we say to allow 3-5working days. Quite often it is quicker than
this, and, on the odd occasion it can be longer if you are in a rural area.
Q. How much is
postage?
A.
Postage can range depending on what you order. Postage is calculated based on the weight of your order. If you
wish to see how much your order will be you can click "add to basket" on the products you want and it will give
you postage costs, before you have to enter any of your personal details.
Q. Can I use Hoselink with my
existing Hose?
A. Yes, you can use Hoselink with your own hose, provided it is a 12mm (1/2") hose (which is
the normal sized garden hose). Note: Hoselink does NOT fit on 18mm (3/4") hoses (which are commercial hose size
used by councils, golf courses etc).
Q. Can I use Hoselink on an
18mm (3/4") commercial size Hose?
A. No, unfortunately Hoselink only fits on 12mm (1/2") hoses.
Q. Can I use Hoselink with my
existing accessories, such as sprinkler, spray gun, watering wand, etc.
A. Yes you can. Most accessories have a thread, in which case you can screw our 470
Hoselink Male Connector straight into your accessory. If your accessory does not have a thread, there are two
solutions.
1. If it
presents with a Male "click-on" part, 99% of the time this can be unscrewed, which will then present a thread
and 470 can then be screwed in.
2. If it
presents with a Male "Click-on" part, and it cannot be unscrewed, In our starter kits we also provide a 490
Click-on Adaptor, which you can click onto your existing accessory. However, please note this item (490) is not
Hoselink designed or manufactured, and therefore carries no guarantee. It is ONLY provided for people who have
existing accessories (spray guns/sprinklers) that have the male "click-on" part AND it CANNOT be unscrewed.
In future when you are considering buying accessories, ensure they present with a thread &
NOT a Male Click-on part.
Q. Can Hoselink be purchased
at any retail outlets or hardware stores?
A. No, unfortunately not. At this stage we are only selling our product over the internet, we
deliver anywhere in UK & Australia right to the customers door. This way it helps the environment by limiting packaging
& you, the customer, gets the product at the most affordable price. If you wish to have our product sent
anywhere else, you can contact us and we can advise you if it is possible.
Q. What are the other payment
options, as I do not have a credit card?
A.
- Pay by directly depositing the money into our bank
account, this can be done by internet transfer
or paying at an ANZ branch into our account.
- Pay by cheque/Money Ordermade payable to "Hose Pro
International Pty Ltd" and send it to
us with your contact details & order I.D.
Q. How do I know my credit card details will
be safe when I order online?
A. Our website shop
is totally secure so your details cannot be accessed by anyone but us. (You can check if a site is secure, if on
the page you are entering your card details, in the web address bar you will see an S after http. i.e. https://hoselink.co.uk. On the same line, you can also see a picture of a
padlock at the end of the bar. These two characteristics are the recognised banking & internet sign to show a
site is secure.)
Q. What happens if I order the wrong items or I want to return any items?
A. If you have not ordered Hoselink before we recommend you start by purchasing a starter kit. A starter kit
contains all the parts necessary to fit up one tap and one hose. i.e it connects the tap to the hose and then
connects the other end of the hose to a spray gun or other accessory. If you do however, order the wrong items or
want to return all or part of your order for what ever reason, simply give us a call and we can discuss the most
suitable option. In most circumstances an exchange or refund will be granted provided the goods have not been
used.
Q. How do I remove the Hoselink Hose Connector from my hose?
A. Hoselink won’t burst off, but once on, you need to know how to get them
off the hose!! Below are some helpful instructions.
- Unscrew the nut and this will reveal a white Split Ring on the end
of the hose.
- With a small screwdriver, push the blade into the split in the white
Split Ring and lever the Split Ring up so that it is well clear of the Hose
Connector.
- Carefully
pour very hot water into the Hose Connector where it joins the hose. This will soften the
hose.

Drain the hot water away and then carefully pull it off the hose. It may still require some strength to pull
the hose connector off the hose. Please pull directly upwards and NOT sideways.
Q: Can I contact Hoselink by phone?
A: Yes, if you run your mouse over the "Contact Us" tab, you will see a drop down menu,
which contains "Contact Details" section.
